This one is using Patons’ Merino Natural Marl. It’s a much thicker yarn and knits up much quicker but I wonder if it will be comfortable to wear. We’ll find out.
Leo’s friend delivered some firewood before he went out of town. I have enough to last for serveral weeks at least. I’m very excited and we had a small one before the season finale of the housewives. It’s cold but it’s great. For a person who doesn’t like to be cold, this statement doesn’t come out of me very often.
Picture taken with my new camera. What a difference!
Took benny for a haircut and stopped by Border’s to read up on the camera’s. Then on a whim went to Best Buy and got my self a Nikon DSLR. It can function like a point and shoot digital camera but you have all the controls of a manual one. I can’t wait to test it out.
With an SD card in the camera, I can take it out and put it in my PPC phone and send the picture to this blog right away. This means I can post pictures from anywhere and write in it another time. One of the major reasons for a new camera. I think I’m set for a while. Now I just need to take some lessons on how to take nice pictures.
Really enjoyed the fireplace. Sat out by the pool again till the stars came out. The air was chilly but the fireplace kept us warm. We stared into the fire, talked while sipping a cup of tea. Benny was on my lap, and tido on leo’s. I could do this for the rest of my life everyday as Leo said even though I’m fighting a cold.
The throat is flaming but Dayquil took care of it. Called off work again, better to keep the germs to myself. But I’m going to take benny for a haircut. He’s got knots all over, I’m afraid he’s gonna come back looking like a big mouse again. But that should keep him cool for the summer.
Firewood may be delivered this weekend and thinking about getting those cast iron lawn chairs and table to replace my broken plastic ones. I’m almost set for the summer.
