Life is temporary. Life is always changing. Life is unpredictable. Life is worth celebrating.  We tend to appreciate things when they are gone more than when they are with us.

We are missing Benny terribly.  Almost everything we do reminds us of him today.  He was a constant silent participant of our life.  Not having him in the house with us is not normal.

Big sad thing happened today. We had to put Benny down this morning. He didn’t have good appetite in the previous few days and last night he started to poop blood. We knew it’s time. We were both there seeing him off. And it’s tough even though we knew it’s coming. He has been a good dog. And he lived a longish life of 15 years.

On the other news, I am babysitting Esmé today. Eny and Logan need to go to a wedding so I got her from 1p to 11p. So far so good. She is a happy and quiet baby, easy to take care of.

An early start today.  With Enoch in town, I want to get these routine tasks done early in the morning so I can be free when he calls.

Made some Chinese dishes yesterday and bought one too from Yummy Garden.  We also opened a bottle of Raguci.  They both liked how smooth it was.

It’s nice to hang out with kids that have their own baby already.  Three generations in the same room.

Still working on automation.  I found the ‘preview’ app on the iPhone that I can schedule a post and see some stats on the free side.  More options if you pay for a subscription.  And one of the problems of no ‘retun’ key in instagram is solved by a TextExpander abbreviation.  I should have thought of it already.

I can use workflow to post photos to wordpress.  Still working on the text part.

It’s getting a bit challenging to come up with words to write surprisingly.  I want to keep them positive and inspiring.  There are thousands of words out there.  I need to go and collect them for future scripting.

Still trying to get IFTTT to post my instagram photos here.  It worked once yesterday but today it kept having errors.  It’s a bit frustrating.

Also trying to build a workflow to streamline the process.  So far, haven’t found the magic one that can work seamlessly between all social media.  Still trying…

It’s Friday again! This week just flew by. Actually, time flies by for me now. Probably because not a lot of things worth remembering happen between them, and when I think back to the last “landmark”, it’s a week ago or it’s a month ago. But I am not complaining, no news is good news I have come to realize.LensCrafters texted and told me my glasses are ready. I got a new pair with progressive prescription a few weeks ago. But the reading part for my good eye is only on the insides corner. The fact that I have to rely on only one eye to see and focus, I have to have a pair that works properly for me. So I went back and they remeasured and said would call when the new lens come in. They let me know while we were out getting bread at Brimfield Bread Oven (they have the best bread ever in this area), so we drove there. I found out that they just made a new pair of glasses and I tried them on and they were fine. And we were out the door within 5 minutes. That was great!

We went onto Burntwood Tavern for lunch. Had a cocktail and a combo. The result is passing out for a nap when we got home. :). The food was fine. But they never brought the great hamburger back from before. Leo is a bit disappointed.

Faith and trust. I’ve written both. I also wrote hope. The only word left is love. It will happen I’m sure.

Been into the Bible reading lately. Got myself a premium bible, The Quentel Thinline NASB in blue.  The comments that everybody who owns this bible is right.  It’s built with quality and the words are easy to read. It’s a shame that the physical attributes of the Bible is one of the reasons that draws someone to read it.  I hope I would get pass this elementary enticement and dwell in genuine interest and hunger to read and understand.

Pray unceasingly. Pray constantly. Keep our communication with our God going all the time. If not in words, then in thoughts and adoration.

Today’s clouds are spectacular! I had to stop the car and take pictures of them. You can take pictures of the clouds everyday and get different ones every time.

Every day we make decisions. The outcome depends on our discernment. Whether we pay attention or not, it is our choices that make our lives.

Another nice day in the northeast. We treasure them here whenever we get them.

Humble is a virtue that is hard to achieve. Pride however, is easy and natural.
We went to the neighborhood restaurant for lunch, Longhitano’s has been our favorite family style go to restaurant. And plenty of locals also love to go there for an afternoon glass of wine and visit with friends. Couples come in and greet with others before they even sit down for their drink or meals. Mike the owner is very friendly, Tracie the afternoon matron of the service is also efficient and friendly. It’s a good place to go and the food is good too.
