It’s the day after my eye surgery.  We are visiting the 4th doctor’s office in a week.  As usual, waiting time is much longer than the few minutes the doctor spared for us.  And as usual, the staff proved to be more helpful than the doctor offering advices and answers.  On the way back, we stopped at our favorite Indian restaurant, Saffran Patch in the Valleys and had a wonderful lunch.  I love their buffet, every time there is new dishes to try and they all taste great.  I didn’t like Indian food until Leo took me to this restaurant and now I love it.

Eye patch is off, waiting time starts.  Head down, eye drop 4 times a day, can’t lift, can’t drive…..   Blurry ….

Just got these beautiful skeins of fingering yarn from Knitpicks.  They will most likely become socks for someone in my life.  Or something else on request or on a whim.  I didn’t like variegated colors before and this is my first attempt into this realm.  Maybe I will like it maybe I won’t.  But I am going to give it a try.

This tree in the neighborhood has been my target of documenting the coming of spring.  It’s in full bloom now.  But following its wakening up and slowly filling its branches is a reminder of the life that’s growing all around us in a cyclical manner.  There is always hope after the winter that life is coming back to display its fullness in time.

Logan asked for wrist warmers with a watch opening and now I am knitting these all with the watch opening.  Have the ohio state colored yarns so I worked this one up and now working on a matching hat.

Very sad that the red yarn was obtained from John’s request for a hat and now he is gone already.

It is spring and the Ohio weather is still unpredictable.  Took these pictures last week when I walked Benny in the neighborhood.  Today it’s cold and rainy.  Tomorrow there is 5 inches of snow expected, followed by the weekend in the 70s.  Geeze, make up your mind.  Give us some warm sunny days already!!

Elim came home for a week of vacation.  It’s so nice to have her all to myself, so to speak, for a week.  We dined, shopped, watched TV and had a relaxing time together.  The baby is growing in her tummy, and she liked the blanket and the baby hats I knitted for Everett (Evy). My little girl is going to be a mom soon.  How time flies.
